The Last Five Years is a moving and intimate musical by Jason Robert Brown that tells the story of Cathy and Jamie’s relationship from two different perspectives. Cathy begins at the end, looking back, while Jamie starts at the beginning, moving forward, and the two timelines cross only once on their wedding day. Through a beautiful and emotionally rich score, the show explores love, ambition, hope, and heartbreak with honesty and depth.
